William Francis Wendel Toy

Lifelong Greenport resident William Francis Wendel Toy, 33, passed away quietly at his home with his family on Nov. 20.

A graduate of Greenport High School, he enjoyed music, art and the computer. According to his family, he was a very giving and caring person with a great sense of humor.

Mr. Toy is survived by his mother, Ann Toy of Greenport; his father, Anthony Toy Sr. of New Berlin, N.Y.; his siblings, Christine Corwin of Lakeland, Fla., and Anthony Toy Jr. and Elizabeth Toy, both of Greenport; nephews Joseph Corwin of Florida, Ian and Aiden Toy, both of Southold, and Matthew Gomez of Greenport; and niece Danielle Corwin of Florida.

The family received visitors Nov. 23 at Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport. A Funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 24 at St. Agnes R.C. Church in Greenport. Interment followed at the church cemetery.
